My First Three Questions in Parliament
In September, I asked my first three Questions in Parliament to the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and the Treasury.
Ministry of Justice
I asked the Secretary of State for Justice for reassurance that the early release of prisoners would not lead to victims of domestic abuse here in Esher and Walton living in fear of their perpetrators returning.
Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government
I asked the Minister of State for Housing and Planning what specific protections the Government intends to offer for the green belt.
The Treasury
Given the fragile state of Thames Water, I asked the Chancellor in Parliament whether customers might be best protected by taking Thames Water into special administration now before a possible collapse. I was disappointed by the Government’s inadequate response.
