Raising the vital importance of UK funding for Gavi

Protecting the NHS from global diseases and delivering vaccines to 1 billion children worldwide - that's why Gavi is one of the UK’s success stories. As a founder member of Gavi the UK has helped save 18 million lives through vaccines and inoculations and kept us safe from diseases such as Ebola and MPOX. It’s critical that their work continues and why it’s imperative that the UK continues its funding - not only to protect the world’s poorest but also us. I asked Wes Streeting what leadership his department will take in supporting that.
