The £1.8bn is not new money, our economy is not in good health and the Prime Minister has lied. At best, his announcement is a sticking plaster for an NHS in critical condition; at worst, it covers up a Brexit bung, shiny new hospitals to distract from the No Deal catastrophe ahead.
