Speaking on BBC Radio Surrey about how housing in Esher & Walton must be community-led

 
 

Housing in Esher & Walton must be community-led, not dictated from Whitehall.

Following the Government’s announcement of a new planning framework, which allows developers to bypass elected local councillors and requires councils to review green belt land, I’m calling on the Government to listen to local communities like ours in Esher & Walton.

We all agree we need new homes here but they must be genuinely affordable – the right homes in the right places.
